Anika Louise is a contemporary folk and country-pop singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Boorloo/Perth, Western Australia. Known for her raw, heartfelt songwriting and warm, acoustic-driven sound, Anika’s music is shaped by the storytelling traditions of artists like Missy Higgins, Noah Kahan, and early Taylor Swift. Drawing inspiration from her everyday thoughts, feelings, relationships, and even classic films and TV shows, she crafts songs that feel deeply personal yet universally relatable.

With seven years of live performance experience and a WAAPA Music Artist qualification under her belt, Anika has become a familiar face in the West Australian music scene. Her ability to blend rich emotional lyricism with compelling melodies has earned her widespread recognition. She was a finalist in the 2019 Fairbridge Festival Songwriting Quest, a nominee in the 2019 WAM Song of the Year, and one of just ten artists selected for WAM’s Demos from Binjareb regional recording project in 2020.

Anika's live performances have taken her to some of WA’s most iconic stages. She won the 2022 City of Gosnells Gozzy Rock Underground Sounds competition and went on to open for the Perth Symphony Orchestra at the 2023 Pop’N’Rock Symphony concert. That same year, she performed her original track Stain live on national television as part of Telethon at RAC Arena.

In 2024, Anika launched her band and began a new chapter of creative growth, continuing to connect with audiences through her signature blend of honesty, warmth, and storytelling. With new music arriving in 2025, including the moving single Pearl, a tribute to her Great Nanna, Anika Louise is cementing her place as one of WA’s most promising and emotionally resonant emerging artists.
